2009 Fantasy Baseball Projections
|
|
We've been in the fantasy projecting business
for 8 straight years now (and playing for twice that long), and we think we do
it pretty well. Unlike most other sites who rely on mindless formulas, we still
do each projection by hand, one at a time, just like we did way back in 2001
when we started this site. We give you detailed projections (16 categories) of
over 700 players in easily sortable online tables (Format similar to our stats section).
Our projections are also dynamically updated throughout Spring Training as news happens so you always have the most accurate and up to date
numbers.

2009 Rookies, Sleepers, & Risks
|
|
Along with the hard fantasy data you need, we
also will be giving you numerous analysis articles and capsules throughout
February and March. We will take a detailed look at the top 30 Rookies, Sleepers
and Risks (15 in each league) as well as digging in depth and giving you insight
into the top 10 fantasy impact players at each position (20 Outfielders and
Starting Pitchers). Great knowledge to take into your draft with you!
|
|
Projected Lineups & Rotations
|
|
You get all of our projected starting lineups
and front 5 rotations for all 30 teams on two easy to reference pages. These
pages as well will be updated throughout Spring Training as roles shift,
injuries occur, and positional battles work themselves out. After all the
offseason changes, movements and acquisitions, see how the orders and rotations
look heading into 2009!

Customizable Cheat Sheets
|
|
Don't get stuck using generic
cheatsheets! Every league is different and if you don't take into
account your particular league rules, any rankings you find are as good as
tossing a coin in the air. Is your fantasy league point based or roto? The
answer to this question alone will make a big impact on what order you should
follow on draft day. With our easy to use cheatsheets, just enter in your league
settings and get a printer friendly cheatsheet based on your league's particular settings.
See sample Cheat Sheet. Of course, our cheatsheets are always up to date--the most recent projection
updates are always used.

Daily Spring Player Updates
|
|
Not only do we pride ourselves in having the
most up to date projections, but throughout March we will be bringing you player
updates every day until April 1st! Loads of capsules daily with all the
pertinent fantasy information you need to know as you prepare for your draft.
Stop in each day and find out who is cranking the ball...and who may be playing
themselves right out of playing time.

Mock Fantasy Drafts
|
|
How will the chips
fall when your actual fantasy draft takes place? Every Tuesday starting February
21st, we will gather together a group of our in house
baseball experts
and fellow fantasy gurus for a series of 8 mock roto drafts (Including 2 sets of AL only and NL Only).
Follow each one and see which players are moving up in the drafts and which ones
may be sliding down.
